Consistency is key. When I ask my clients what they struggle with the most around nutrition we most often comeback to consistency. They do well for a few days or on week days, then on the weekends they make a few poor choices. Or they have days where they eat perfectly and then the next day they hardly consume anything. Humans are rhythmical systems that respond really well to consistent input. If our body know exactly what resources are coming in and what resources are being utilized each day it will begin to prioritize the resources more effectively creating a finely tuned system. However, if we are inconsistent with our inputs we confuse the system and create imbalances. Personally, I eat roughly the same meals each and every day. I have some variety for sure, however, I feel best when I am eating the same meals each day. The main things I notice when I do this are:

Consistency is a daily habit. Start small and develop a routine. If you can master each day, you will be amazed at where you end up in a few short months.
