FREE Community Chair Yoga Class
Thursday, December 12, 5-6p
Chair Yoga is most often offered to senior adults, but it can literally benefit anyone, regardless of age, inflexibility or even disability. In addition, Chair Yoga offers wonderful health benefits throughout the day for those stuck in an office chair.
When a senior or injury-recovering adult asks me if they can do Yoga, I first ask the question, "Can you get on the floor and easily get back up again?"; Most often, to do a traditional yoga class you need to be able to do this. If the answer is no, then I suggest they use a chair in our yoga classes.
This class will introduce you to this practice so you will feel at ease when practicing in one of our regularly scheduled classes with a chair.
Chair provided. Bring Water and a mat. Wear comfortable athletic shoes or grippy yoga socks.
