5 Reasons To Consult With a Coach

Weight Loss Can Be Difficult

Everyday I talk to clients about their struggles to lose body fat. Many feel defeated and think that there is no chance they will ever get there.

It is understandable when you have seemingly tried everything and are not making progress. Here are 3 reasons most do not reach their goals
  1. Their nutrition plan isn’t personalized
  2. They are not consistent with their nutrition choices
  3. They are not eating enough protein (1gram/lb of ideal body weight)

For those who can make consistent choices where they hit their daily nutrient goals and eliminate processed foods, we see incredible results. In a few short months clients have lost 5% body fat while simultaneously increasing their muscle mass by up to 3 pounds.

This is not to mention those who have continued with their plan for a year or more. One client specifically has put on 6lbs of muscle and lost 10% body fat over the past year.

Personalize Your Nutrition

Coaching clients is all about individualization. This is where most go wrong with finding nutrition information online and hiring training.

Too many programs are one size fits all templates. Sadly these only work for a handful of people and leave most defeated believing that they will never reach their goals.

You are a human with your own preferences, genetic make-up, and life experiences that will dictate how you respond best to nutrition changes.

To be most effective with your nutrition you have to personalize your approach to align with your goals.

Answer these 5 questions:

How many calories do you burn each day?
What is your current body composition?
How much protein do you need to consume?
How much fat should you consume each day?
How many calories are left over for carbohydrates?

These are a few (of the many) questions we learn about our clients to start the process of personalizing their nutrition.

Once we answer these questions we can plug in Whole Foods based on our clients preferences and start their path to a better body composition!

Be. Consistent.

Having a plan to achieve your goals is a great start. Actions are how you carry out the process and achieve results.

To drive change in your body you must be consistent with yourself.

Show up for yourself everyday. Not only the weekdays or when it is convenient.

Show up for yourself on the hardest days, the ones when you want to give up the most. This is when it counts.

I can tell pretty quickly who is going to crush the programs I provide them and who is going to need more guidance and support.

Everyone can start hot out of the gate but the difference in true success is those who can maintain the pace they start at and continue to build their pace with every lap.

If you are the hot starter that loses steam ask yourself these 3 questions:
  1. Why did I start this journey?
  2. What roadblocks got in my way?
  3. How do I manage my efforts and plan better for the future

Feeling stuck on your fitness journey?

Take a moment to reflect and refocus with these three simple questions and reply to this email with your answers.

I would love to read over them and help you plan for the future!
